We are very pleased to offer this fantastic Maggini model cello by Bernardel "Père", a particularly significant instrument with an established reputation in the London musical scene. This instrument was meticulously kept by the same owner, a principal cellist of a London orchestra, for over 50 years. The sound is typical of the finest French instruments of this era, boasting incredible projection with a warm & rich tone. This cello, inspired by Maggini of Brescia, is a characteristic example of the maker's work in an excellent state of preservation.
