Ariel Lang and Pedro Silva started MyLuthier as students at the Royal Academy of Music, and both still play. That is not a founding story so much as a working method. Every instrument that comes through the door is judged by how it sounds and how it feels under the hand, not only by what is wrong with it.
The work is in-house, by our own makers and restorers, with imaging and equipment most workshops send out for. You speak to the person holding your instrument. You get a price before anything starts. And if the honest answer is that it needs nothing, that is the answer you will get.
