Commissioned by a lucky player in Taiwan, this violin is finally ready and it was absolutely worth the wait! Made by Sing Him Wong, our Head of Making at MyLuthier, this is one of his finest creations. This “Lord Wilton” Guarneri model does justice to its name. Aesthetically, it stays true to the original, with the recognisable scroll and f-hole shapes. However, Sing Him has added his own personal touch to it, and this combination works very well. The sound is what truly stands out. From the moment the bow touches the strings, the violin feels limitless. It has power, depth, resonance, nuance, and crucially, it is very easy to play. The G string is absolutely phenomenal and resonates so strongly that you can feel the vibrations in your hand. The D and A strings are deep and full, with a sweet quality to them. Lastly, the E string projects as one would expect from a violin of this level. Although this one is sold, we have its twin sibling coming very soon, which will be available for order and purchase!
