Daniele Tonarelli is a true Cremonese violin maker. Born, trained, and entirely devoted to the historic craft of his city. He built his first violin at just 15, driven by a childhood certainty that this was his calling. He went on to train at the Scuola Internazionale di Liuteria and with Maestro Marco Nolli, steadily earning awards at major competitions in Baveno, Bagnacavallo, Moscow, and Cremona.
Tonarelli’s instruments are deeply rooted in the great Italian tradition, yet unmistakably personal. Known for his masterful antiquing and refined sound, he builds violins, violas, and cellos that capture the warmth, power, and elegance musicians seek in a true Cremonese instrument.
Every instrument is available for trial at our beautiful central London showroom.
